On Sunday 21st January, NQCC hosted our first social event for 2018, and we all had a blast!

Hosted in our very own backyard, we broke the New Year in with style - food, drinks, games, prizes and lots of laughter!

A round of quoits and a bocce tournament (taken very seriously by Wendy and Malcolm, seen secretly strategising, below) provided some quality entertainment, while the 'swear jar' accompanied by some forbidden words kept everyone on their toes. The afternoon wrapped up with a raffle, with three lucky winners taking away some pretty exciting prizes (wine, anyone?).

A big thank you to all who attended! It is always a thrill to be surrounded by like-minded people to discuss environmental issues and enjoy a drink or two and some good old-fashioned entertainment. To those who couldn't make it to this one, don't despair! We look forward to hosting more social events throughout the year in order to share ideas, broaden our networks and inspire one another to be better environmentalists.
