Renewable Reef Futures 1-day Workshop

NQCC are promoting a one day workshop being held in Townsville with the objective of sharing knowledge and collaboratively identifying, prioritising and catalysing high potential opportunities for renewable energy projects along the Great Barrier Reef.

The event is organised The Renewable Reef Futures team from the Centre for Sustainability Leadership. Attendance is $50 and tickets are available from Eventbrite.

Participants from government, industry, council, NGO, research, university, business and leadership are very welcome to participate and contribute to the workshop.

Six excellent speakers have confirmed including: Deputy Mayor Vern Veitch (Townsville City Council), Craig Froome (Global Change Institute), Frank Dallmeyer (Tropical Energy Solutions), Tim Quirey (Department of Energy and Water Supply), Warwick Powell (Innovator and Company Director), Sophie Allen (Ergon).

Sascha Thyer will lead a tour of Reef HQ's solar system.
